Bill,
Icom has not sold the T2H for quite a few months now. Sometime early
this year, they switched to the "T2H Sport" (the box still says "T2H"
however) which comes with a battery case for AA alkaline or nicad cells
but without the nicads or a charger. However, for the last few weeks,
Icom has been giving away a free battery pack (BP-196 -- see the AES ad
on p. 129 of the December, 2002, QST) with the radio but not giving the
charger needed for it. If the person you bought from purchased it within
the past couple of weeks this is almost certainly what he sold you --
the radio with the free nicad pack but no charger, just as he received
it.
The Icom BC-110A, which is the recommended wall wart style charger, is
rated at 12v @ 200 mA. The connector that plugs into the radio is
center-positive but I do not know what it's dimensions (outer and inner
diameter) are.
