I've worked where the antenna current at the base of the towers was measured
regularly.  Of course, the Impedance/Admittance there was established and verified
on a regular basis.  The other thought you may want to cover is the comparsion of
VU meters to DB and other meters, and the reason for the ballastic characteristics of
the VU meters.  I suppose ICOM's meters now don't have the fast attack and slow
release that we are accustomed to...          73   Clete
