[Icom] Rx antenna protection

Occasionally postings occur regarding the use of the external antenna
connection on some Icom rigs. In some cases there are indications of
front end overload damage due to the receiving antenna being in close
proximity with the transmitting antenna. In the February 1988 issue of
QST, Icom published a "TECH TALK" addressing this situation along with a
simple schematic using two shunt 1N914 diodes along with a series #47
dial lamp to protect the front end. You can find it on page 90 in an
