Thanks all.  Lots of good suggestions.

Electrically it is still working fine.  Just the nut came loose.
Unless it fails totally, I will not open the radio.  I am not
afraid of that kind of work, but why open it if it is working.

I will probably use locktite and tighten it down, looks like it
will do the job.
