I had the same problem with a pair of T7's.
I tried the needle nose pliers but it did not solve the problem.
However, I made a simple wrench - really quite easy to do, just a
small piice of metal with a suitable sized hole cut in it and bend the
sides to fit the slots in the nut - and tightened them both. Been 2 or
3 years now and they have both stayed tight.
