Hi Peter,

In the IC-2KLPS, Q1 and Q2 are 2SD797's, and Q3 is a 2SB596.

RF Parts Inc. lists the 2SD797 at $4.05 each and  the 2SB596 at $3.25 each.

Another possible source for the 2SB797 is Semiconductor Technology Inc.

The 2SB596 crosses to the TIP42C-MBR; the 2N6125 and 2N6126 may be close.
The 2SD797 crosses to the 2N5886.
