Still looking, Ray, for the service manual for the Delta-100H.
I'm also hoping to find out about the MARS/CAP (out-of-band) TX mods for
this rig. There is nothing shown on the usual "mods" web sites for the
Delta100H.
It's a great little radio, but REALLY tough to find parts, accessories or
info for! We Delta owners should start a support group!

Subject: Re: [Icom] Service Manual

G'day William ( Bill ? )

I too have a Delta100, and after a few early problems - RF feedback - fixed
under warranty with instant success - think it was getting into the mic
lead or something, worst on 70 cm, clicking noise in TX audio - all
fixed and I actually like the true tri-band nature of the rig. The TX
audio is a bit unique I am told. The rig has functioned flawlessly for
years in my Ford S/wagon, the fan cycling has a mod I was told, rather than
on-off, a slow increase in speed as required - much quieter - never seen
any details of this though.

Did you get a copy of the service manual at all ? If so from where and
how much did it cost you?

ICOM Australia don't have any copies for sale and only three Delta100 units
were ever sold in Australia I am told, although I know of others purchased
on overseas visits Zone20 in Japan etc

Anyway, just saying hello, and would like to hear from you and what you
think of the rig etc

Regards
Ray
