Oh no argument it can't be done...but how and I know it is not easy. Not
trying to argue with you, just don't think you need to go that far to get
great audio. I am a studio musician who used to make my living playing and
recording sound. I find no fault with using the SP5's to get great audio
although I did stuff strategically some foam inside of them. I just think
for the new guys we should lead them to believe that the only way to get
great audio is through Hi Fi speakers and amplifiers, it simply isn't so and
again I mean no offense. Everyone hears things different and I consider
myself very critical when it comes to sound...hi hi. It kind of reminds me
of these guys I hear telling newbies or hams that don't know a lot about
antennas...that the only real ham station has to have a tower and beams to
have fun and to put out a big signal. It again, it just not so! I know lots
of people who use nothing but wire antennas and work DX and have all kinds
of fun without the hassle and cost of beams and towers. Please George
understand I am not trying to argue with you...I just think we need to be
more flexible in our response to questions about audio, RFI, antennas and
realize that there are more ways to skin a cat than one. Plus everyone's
situation is different and what works for some might not for other. Of
coarse you know all that George hi hi. 73 and I enjoyed the objective
exchange, 73, Steve, NX1G
