At one time, many years ago, Icom made what was called a "Guppie back" for
the IC2AT/4AT. It was a replacement rear cover that had about a one quarter
inch "hump" the length of the case. This allowed you to install a tone
encoder and a DIP switch so you could change the frequency as needed. I
think it was made for a commerical ICOM similar to the 2/4AT series. If you
look around you may still be able to find one. For what it's worth the 2/4
AT's were great, simple to use, dependable radios. Wish I still had one! I
