[Icom] IC-746Pro 1750Hz tone ?

Hi folks,

Being a proud owner of a 746Pro for 3 days and having searched the manual
on this subject, I still did not find out how to transmit a 1750Hz tone
to key up European repeaters.

I got the radio from the US but according to the manual it should work for
any "version". I followed the instructions given in the manual (activating
Tone (F4)), I key the radio but when pushing Tone again, it does not
transmit
a 1750Hz tone but switches to "T SQL".

Do I have to change a setting somewhere else before it works ?

It works just fine on my "old" 706MKII, so the newer generation should be
able to do the same as well.

Any hint is appreciated.
