[Icom] IC-2100H alternator whine problems

Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it.
The radio is connected directly to the battery terminals. However, I took a
power supply and extension cord from the shack and ran the radio from that.
The noise disappeared completely. So it does seem that the interference
reaches the radio through the power cables on the battery. I'll have to do
some more experiments, I suppose, but that's what our hobby is all about, of
course :-)
