[Icom] IC-756 scope

Gary,

I have the same model and the same problem, which is very common 
and said to be due to a bad production run of displays by the OEM 
supplier to ICOM. The only solution is to replace the display.

I have been able to get such a replacement from the VK agent at a 
discounted price, but have yet to make the change, which I propose to 
do myself..

I understand that many other W/K owners have had the job done at 
an US ICOM agents. You are probably looking at a couple of hundred 
dollars US.

Otherwise a great radio I reckon...
