Well spoken Steve. I love bells and whistles, and especially Dsp. Looking
forward to the next generation or two to really make some progress. I don't
know of a single rig out there that doesn't have its share of pluses and
minuses. Love my Icoms, still do and have from a long time ago .... used to
help run the Icom net on twenty meters back when the Ic-701 and Ic-720 were
in their hey days with Rob from Florida way. Put out a bunch of mods in
those news letters and had a ball doing it. Same for Yaesu and Kenwood from
time to time. Still have some Drake and Heath stuff here too.... a good mix
of tube, transistor, ic, and dsp equipment on hand and to stay for a long
time even with new additions.

Wish we could get the best of each rig rolled into one .... but I guess that
would interfere with the sales and marketing fellers .... hi hi
