[Icom] Decision time and request for advice (long)

Anthony. I didn't say the stuff was stolen, some one suggested that it
"might be hot", obviously because it was purchased cheap and from a
non-ham who apparently used it illegally. I simply suggested they ask a
lawyer for advice on what can happen if it turns out to be stolen. Now do
you get the point????? It never ceases to amaze me that some people find
fault with every comment made on this list. Take a minute from flaming
list members and ask a lawyer what can happen to people who buy stuff from
private individuals way below market value that turns out to be stolen,
the fact that you got it cheap can be used against you as an indication
that you should have known. Believe it or not, it actually happens, and
especially with cars, you know, like a Lexus. Ken
