[Icom] Decision time and request for advice (long)

im just a bit frugal when it comes to money.also im a casual dx er and the
II wouldnt be a big thing to have over the pro.also 1200.00 is quite a bit
of loot.but yes the II is the better rig but not by a whole lot.i sure do
enjoy this icom reflector.today i was working in a customer's house and he
was some sort of bootleger.he had a mint icom ic-728 barely used,mars
capped.I got it for a crisp 100.00 bill and got a bootleger off the air.i
also got for 40.00 more a vectronics 300 watt antenna tuner,an rci 2950 and
a radio shack freq counter.It was a GREAT day.73
