All modules for the IC-900 are the same as those for the IC-901 
with the exception of the two meter and 450 Mhz modules.  In 
the IC-901, these two modules are integrated in the radio. 

I would assume that they are of similar design and construction, 
but there are apparent mechanical and electrical differences. 
I have never had a problem using an IC-900 module on my 
IC-901 radio. 

Each of the modules consume about 20 plus pages in 
the Service Manual.  It might be possible to copy this material. 
It requires oversize pages for the diagrams and schematics.
