Let's not be too hasty.

Yes, this particular component has been a sore point,
but overall, most of us have had pretty good luck with
Icom Tech Support.

Don't forget, K and Y owners have similar problems.
Most of the manufacturers need some improvements here.
I've even seen people complain about TenTec upon occasion.

Would I give Icom Tech Support an "A+"?  No.  But they're
not failing either.  I'd probably give them a "B".
