While I appreciate Sandy's generous comments and support, I feel that I owe
a general apology to the members of this reflector.
In making what I intended to be, and so described as, a personal response
to the originator of this thread, I fell victim to the "Reply" aspect of
this reflector which from time to time has caught more than a few of us. My
comments, which were intended solely for the named recipient who was
specifically addressed, inadvertently were posted to the general subscriber
list because I failed to properly review the list of addressees.
I apologize to the principals involved in my posting, and to any who may
have been offended by its content and the unintentional use of unnecessary
bandwidth.
I have strongly supported our moderator's stand on the posting protocol for
this reflector and will continue to do so. But, I ask that we all consider
the improprieties that can arise when we do not pay strict attention to how
our postings are addressed.
I might add that I have received several postings in general agreement with
my remarks so evidently I have not alienated the entire Icom list! <:}
Again, my apologies to all and especially to our moderator for creating
unnecessary list traffic.
