Does market share actually matter, or mean anything at all. All it says is
that they supposedly sell such and such a percentage of the total of ww
sales. That tells you nothing, especially when the sales are based on a
users idea of what is or isn't a good transceiver. Or an assumed qty of
actual active radio amateurs ww. Blimey I know guys who would buy Kenwood
because they like the knobs....come on guys, forget all this marketing
rubbish :-). Who cares anyway, other than the CEO's of the companies
concerned.
I saw an add in a recent issue of RadCom ( RSGB UK Journal ) that refered to
an interface unit selling 10,000 pieces. You just have to laugh truly.
Sheer bunkum is all I can say about these so called sales figures
hahahahahaha!.
