[Icom] re IC-706 ant selection

    Since the HF and 6 meter bands share the same antenna connector on the
IC-706, what is the best arrangement to make it an automatic selection of
antennas from the normal hf bands to 6 meters? I have a friend who presently
has the SGC antenna tuner and matching antenna for the normal HF bands but
now wants to have access to the 6 meter band from his mobile. The plan was
to use a commercially made antenna such as the Larsen NMO-50 (1/4 wave whip)
for 6 meters. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
