[Icom] IC756PROll vs ORION

I spoke with the top man at Ten Tec today and while he said the radio and
all the buttons as you see them will be the same. There would be up to three
possible screens that could end up in the Orion, color, amber, or Multi
color like the Pro II. He said they would know later this year. He said
quality control was a big issue and they were working hard to clean things
up. The biggest new I heard was from the boys at Kenwood who have not had
too much to show lately. He said that was getting ready to change and that
they were going to come out with an HF/6 meter only mobile to compete with
the FT100D and 706 Icom plus they were going  to be introducing several
other new goodies in the near future. It is about time Kenwood. 73, Steve
