JV, I think that your two problems can be readily resolved.

First, the shutdown problem. It sounds to me like you have inadvertantly
activated the TIMER function of the PRO which permits you to allow the rig
to control its on/off status. If you have, you will see a red indicator
light within the POWER switch whenever you turn the rig on. If you just
push and release the button, the red light will go off and the power
shutdown will als, but your rig will remain on and operating.

You have a menu setting for the POWER TIMER which allows you to select the
time. But if you will always just push the button whenever you see the red
indicator, then that function is disabled and your radio will not power
down. This is described at some length in the PRO manual.

Second, in the RTTY mode, the radio is operating in FSK mode so the dial
reading is set accordingly. But in using the RigBlaster you are feeding
audio tones into the mic input from the MTTY program and the computer
soundcard. Because of that you have to offset the dial reading by the
amount of one of the tone frequencies, which is 2125 Hz. That is the "2.2
KHz" that you are observing. In the AFSK mode which the MTTY program uses,
you are operating the radio in the SSB/AFSK mode, and that is why you have
to change the dial setting relative to operating in the RTTY/FSK mode. I
haven't looked at that section of the manual in some time, but I think that
there is a pretty good discussion of that as well.

Nothing appears to be wrong with your radio - just need to observe a couple
of operating points.

Have fun!
