Exactly, just verified it with my CIV-Test software.

$1A $02 $mm
without text returns the current content of memory $mm (read)

$1A $02 $mm $xx $xx ... $xx
with text sets the content of memory $mm (write)

Just tried it, each keyer memory actually store 55 characters, not 54 as
mentioned in the manual. So the command correctly returns 55 chars.
