NOW this thread starts... I have recently been trying a couple of HF mobile
antennas. Most recently I have a 20M Ham Stick on a mag mount. Less than 3
ft away is a 2M/70cm thru-the-glass antenna. No problems so far, and I'm
starting to run PSK and RTTY too. YMMV

How much danger is there in overloading the 2 meter 440 side of the IC-706
if you run a separate dual band antenna on port 2 and are transmitting 100
watts on HF on the other antenna port? Assuming that there is at least 2 or
three feet between antennas? I am hearing some distressing thoughts.
