Hello Gary,
Thanks for your reply. I am considering moving my operating position to a
room next to where my coax enters my house. I would like to keep the PW1
near the entry point. I probably need to only add about five or six feet to
the cables.

why do you want to lengthen the cable? How long do you want to go? It can be
lengthened however, reliable operation limits that length but so far, I've
not
heard of anyone finding that limit. I also own and operate a PW-1 but I rack
mounted mine next to the shack desk. I don't mind the fan noise but I
certainly would not mount the amp in a room or enclosure without a
controlled
environmental temp and humidity.
