Peter,
I have always gotten a response usually takes a few days to a week but,
I have always received a good response. Did you e-mail them? That is
what I do. I haven't tried them on the phone.

To whom it may concern,

I am unable to connect on PACTOR with my IC-706MKIIG. 
The mode is USB and / or LSB.
UNPROTO works fine and there is no problem sending or receiving.
I eliminated all possible external causes by substituting my 706MKIIG
with a friends 706MKII, not a G model.
The 706MKII works fine in the connect mode.
What causes the 706MKIIG not to work in the connect mode ?
