I forgot to mention that you can get a feel for what the AH-4 is 
doing by measuring the SWR at the transceiver after the AH-4 thinks
it is properly tuned.  It'll never be perfect, but it often is
magnifying glass close...  I've used the AH-2 since it first came
out, and AH-4's after that.  I never saw an AH-3.  Most of the time
I was using them with a 4:1 balun and ladder line feeding a center-fed
dipole of various lengths from time to time.   USAF MARS and other
government frequencies most of the time.          73  Clete
