For several reasons. This was the best deal I could
get for a mobile antenna that covered all the way from
70 cm, 2m, 80m (could tune it with the AH4), 40m,
20m, 15m, 10m and 6m. Tuning is relatively easy though
there is a lot of trimming to be done initially. It
can easily take the wind shear when you are mobile at
100mph with little swaying unlike a lot of other
mobile antennas. Mounting is easy and the antenna is
sturdy. The bandwidth is as advertised, but narrower
at lower bands which is not a major concern when I run
it on my AH4.
I would'nt call this the best, but weighing out the
points I listed above, I personally felt it was a good
deal to go with my MKII and AH4.

before Dick comes in and grabs my neck! ;-)
