Why did you pick the diamond antenna?

Joe,
I use a MKII together with an AH4 and a Diamond HV7.
Wonderful and a reasonably priced combination!

I really dont think its worth investing on a AH2b as
it is over priced. When I was intending on going for a
mobile setup, I did a bit of homework. Some of the
alternatives that came up were

Tuner : AH4 (excellent tuner)

Antennas :
ATLAS 100 with an Amcom interphase
A radioshack 102" whip
Outbacker perth
Diamond HV7
are some of the anteaans that come to my mind.

Hope this is of little help
