[Icom] Help with 706MKIIG and MFJ

I too had a 1275M for a Yaesu FT 817 and it did not work for that radio.
Called MFJ and they were stumped for the time being.  They are supposed to
get back to me. In fact MFJ told me they did not test the 1275 with an 817
even though they put the jumper diagram in their manual.
The increase in radio frequency may be due to RF getting in through the
1275.  Toroids on the cables may work.
On the other hand look at your 706 manual and wire the 8 pin plug as
indicated in the Icom manual then MAP the jumpers back to the ICOM using the
MFJ table they supply in the manual.
That's the best I can think of.
