If all you're working is repeaters and simplex why get an all mode rig?
ICOM has plenty of 2meter FM rigs that will cost a heck of lot less than
a 275H...
As for the reviews...its like elbows...everybody's got 'em...
I can only tell you my own experience with the rig...which has been
super

Check Eham and look under UHF and VHF radios in product reviews. Too
many problems for me and I want a 275 for local simplex work and
repeaters. Not interested in Satellite or SSB distance work. Thanks for
