Go for the PRO II, greatest rig I have ever owned!
I think the problem with your 761 is the "plastic trimmer caps", they 
should ALL be replaced, and the unit realigned.
Oh, your 2KL & AT-500 will be fully compatible with the PRO II, just plug 
in the DIN plugs & your on line.
