The current issue of CQ Magazine just arrived and has an article entitled
"The Heil Sound Series of Special Microphones for Icom Transceivers"
on pages 37-39.

Hi Jeff,
Another good resource is the IC-756Pro II reflector.

The Heil Classic is a good choice. I have had very good audio reports with a
Heil GoldLine/HC-5; the GoldLine is an excellent alternative to the Classic.
Yet another option is the Heil HM-i electret microphone, designed for use
with Icom radios. These are all on the Heil Sound website

I have been reading the list archives the last few weeks, and just joined
the list. I'm a new 756Pro2 user. I just got one today, and have used it for
a few hours now, and I really like it. My previous main rig was a Kenwood
TS-850, which I was quite pleased with, but the 756Pro2 is definitely an
improvement, and I also like the features of the 756Pro2.
The list archives were very helpful in making the decision to get a 756Pro2,
and I look forward to reading the list mail every day.
BTW, I'm considering the Heil Classic for use with the Pro2. Any advice,
comments, or suggestions would be appreciated.

Jeff, KC1MK
