[Icom] PW1 VL1000 ACOM 2000

Hi,

I am using a PW-1 but to be objective, I have passed this question to 
another VR2 ham who is owning 3 x IC781, 3 x PW-1 and 1 x VL1000.  His 
views are:

1.  He used VL1000 at the first beginning when PW-1 was in its early 
production.

2. ICOM has subsequently redesigned the circuity of PW-1 so that some of 
its function can be used with ICOM exciter even without switching on the 
amplifier.

3. He then bought his 2nd and 3rd PW-1.  He then lives with his PW-1 and 
lets his VL-1000 as standby amplifier.

If you are an ICOM user, using a PW-1 is real trouble free.  ACOM 2000 is 
not common in Hong Kong so that I cannot give any comments.

is any one can let me know what the best linear that as well have good atu 
in
it
and working well is it the ICOM PW1 VERTEX VL1000 OR ACOM 2000 ?
