Well, I have them both and one I am staying with PW1 extra power difference 
does not make difference i. But your antenna Will! with Log it the best combo 
effort less qso an on breakable combo that's the Icom difference! You will 
never buy another amp. you can put a rotary switch use the tuner manual for 
non Icom radio or use the cv17 and its all run from the radio. I like no I 
love it.
