Hi Ron. It might pay to check your homeowners insurance, from time to time
I see a lightning damaged rig on ebay that was already paid for with
insurance, take the check and then you could offer to but it back for
pennies on the dollar, insurance companies have little need for ham rigs
and it might even be repairable, or ebay it, one lightning damaged PRO
fetched about $900, good luck, Ken
