Why is it that EVERY time this subject comes up, some Martian chimes in with 
this: "It's 'illegal' to do so and so" malarky?

Good grief! 

I submit that MOST of us are also EQUIPPED to commit rape . . . But, I doubt 
we would ever be convicted if no other evidence existed.

In addition, how many thousands (millions?) of commercially made amateur rigs 
will transmit out of band in an unmodified state? Should we make a quick trip 
to the dump to get rid of the "evidence"? Sheesh!
