[Icom] ICOM mobile question?

Great site Reid...thanks mucho!
You know what caught my eye is the ICOM 718 fer less than $600 new,
in-the-box!!! I'm not really interested in the vhf/uhf bands anymore, so the
size of the 718 looks good.....
