[Icom] Help...ICOM 751A receiver on the blink!

I'll second the Avvid suggestion.
When I got my 736, it had no receive preamp.
I was told by the seller something about that being a mod to reduce the
intermod or distortion when it is on.
Of course, that was nonsense..it was broke!
Cliff found and fixed the shorted diode in very short order.
