[Icom] Posting on the reflector

Could I please take a brief moment of your time and ask for your help in 
making the list easier for all of us to get good, useful information from?

I am referring to the practice of many users of sending replies to the 
entire list which consist of information that is intended for only one 
person.  Messages such as "Thanks for the info"  or "I agree" or "I might be 
interested in buying your rig if the price is right."

These messages should be sent directly to a single person, and the email 
address of each user is posted right in their original message.  BUT.....  
you DO have to manually type it in, in place of "icom@mailman.qth.net" in 
the To: field.  (This is because, when you hit the reply button, the default 
address of the entire list is inserted in the To: field.)

Ok?  Thanks very much.
It is probably not necessary for this message to generate a slew of "I 
agree" or even "Quit complaining, Rick" replies.  If you want to, send them 
directly to me and not the whole list !!
