Jack,

The LPL VCO trimmer may be failing. You may need to replace it, and the four
HPL VCO trimmers (all metallised-plastic types) with ceramic trimmers.

Listening to a net, my 761 jumped frequency approximately 200-300
cycles.  The display did not move.  It also sounded as if the filters
changed to a narrower bandwidth.

This happened about 10 minutes after the rig was turned on.

Any ideas?
