I use two programs with excellent control capabilities for my PRO and 765.
The first is TRX Manager which is basically a full-featured control program
that allows virtually every PRO function or operation or setting to be
handled from the computer screen with the mouse and keyboard.
The other is MixW which is a multi-mode digital communications program that
provides frequency, mode, filter, etc. control of a transceiver in
connection with digital comm mode operation, such as with PSK31, CW, AMTOR,
SSTV, etc.
For general control, I highly recommend the TRX program. Registration is
only $50 and it is outstanding. I have tried them all and TRX comes out the
winner. I cannot speak to its memory-handling capabilities but it does
display memory location and allow memory selection, etc.
