When setting up individual mail accounts in  MS OE, just specify a given
account (i.e icom@mailman.qth.net or whatever) is to be in plain text only.
That can be accomplished by simply checking the plain text only box in the
bottom left. If the account has already been entered, just go the
"properties" then "Name." Check the little box and you'll be sending posts
in plain text.

I notice that some list owners are talking about allowing HTML posts. I
think this is a very ill-advised idea that will open the door for all sorts
of problems,

I manage five lists, one of which has nearly 800 subscribers, and it does
take  extra time to approve (or reject) posts because their originators
didn't send them in plain text (or from an e-mail address other than the one
they subscribed under).
