[Icom] IC 746 Relay..for TOM N4TJ

a few weeks ago I bought a ic-756 pro 2 and had the same prob. after a few 
seconds trying to key my amp(qro hf-1000) and the amp staying keyed, I 
disconected the whole thing and started to panic. The relay is ONLY used in 
the DIN connectors and switching diodes are in the phono jack. Anyway, I got 
lucky and found that I did not fry the diodes or weld the relay shut. I 
purchased a relay cable from Bob, W2ENY for $35.oo. Its a small relay neatly 
tucked into a din connector and a phono male jack for the amp. IT WORKS 
GREAT!!! best investment I bought. neat clean does the job. Well worth it and 
IMHO better than mfj relay box.
