Well, the relay can't be damaged. I am using the voltage from the PT on that
relay, about 12 volts or so, and also have one of thosed Ameritron ARB 7021
units. With the ARB, the PT still keys, but bypassing the PT, I can key one
amp at a time. The purpose of the PT was so that I can use the amps in
either/or configuration. It looks like I shall have to devise a switch of
some kind so that they can be switched.
One thing further worries me is that the ARP cannot be switched with AC. I
have some vague memory of someone telling me that the SB200 switching
current is AC......
If anyone has any ideas on any of the above, please drop me a line, and
thanks to those who have replied. I have a lot of questions about the 746.
After 36 years of Drake, this thing is a real hoss!!
