[Icom] Pro II digirecorder question...

Hello,

I'm enjoying my Pro II but having some trouble with the digital recorder. No 
matter where I set the mic gain during recording, I get a constant 
distortion noise level under my voice recording. Almost sounds like some 
kind of feedback...I'm using a Heil GoldLine for a mic. I do have my 
soundcard from the pc running to the back of the Icom, but I disconnected 
it...no difference.

Also, is there a way to playback recorded receive snippets over the air? I 
can't find this in the manual...but seems like a logical thing to want to be 
able to do.
