[Icom] IC 2 KL amp

Steve,
The IC-2KL has been out of production for many years.  Icom still services
them as far as I know, but not all parts are available any longer. The meter
function knob on mine has broken and Icom no longer stocks replacements. The
used price range is about 800-1200 depending on condition with the high
price being virtually new in the original boxes and the lower price being
well used with noticeable wear.  Mine has been in steady operation for many
years and has never missed a beat.  Fan noise is quite high but otherwise it
is a dream to operate with band-switching fully automatic with the right
interface cable connected any modern Icom rig.  I made my own interface
cable, and found that the connector used on the amp is becoming hard to come
by.
