Paul, there are numerous battey companies out there who will provide you a
new Nicad, Nmh, battery. Also, all accessories for this HT are still
available, including the batteries.  I, too, have recently acquired this
radio and like it very much.  Have ordered several accessories from burghart
radio in Watertown, S.D.  Unsure whether you wanted a used or a new battery.
Prices range from $29 to $69 depending on chemistry desired.
