[Icom] Icom 910H Comments?

I just signed on to the Icom reflector so I have not seen any comments on
the IC-910H.

Any comments on what has happened to the IC-910H?  The reviews on Eham.net
have been horrible with specifics of a number of faults with these radio.
Problems of it being off frequency, output power fluctuations across the
band, major intermod issues, returned to Icom for repairs and returned in
same bad shape.  What happened, did the junior engineers get this project?
What a design/quality control difference compared to the Pro line.

I have the IC-821, never had any problems in the 5 years I have owned the
radio, looks like I should keep it.
