Paul,

Did you get it through ebay?  If so, notify them.  Sometimes they have been
able to get a refund, as they did for a friend of mine.
I have both bought and sold equipment to and from people I did not know and
usually it came out ok, but this year I got taken twice, for small amounts
and it PISSES me OFF!
